Pawlok scoured art, film and music festivals all over Europe to secure the Services of his subjects, on more than one occasion approaching them on the street. Providing their managers were not nearby, refusals were rare. Not surprisingly, each Session was a vastly different experience.
The diverse range of egos proved to be consistently unpredictable. The delectable Julie Delpy was strangely introspective, while the supposed fireeaters, Roman Polanski, Dennis Hopper and Charlotte Rampling, all emerged as extremely affable and cooperative.
